KakaoTalk crypto wallet “Klip”: support for 11 cryptocurrencies
For the adaptation of cryptocurrencies, it will be important to be able to use them as easily as possible on the go. One way to do this is to integrate crypto wallets with chat apps like KakaoTalk. Samsung also presented a partnership with the Bitcoin exchange Gemini a few days ago to expand the functions of its integrated wallet.
Username instead of complicated blockchain addresses
Instead of complicated wallet addresses that are long and imperceptible, the currencies can be sent via the information in the KakaoTalk account. This should significantly simplify the operation for people who do not deal with Bitcoin and Co.The wallet is initially only available to users from South Korea. However, the last paragraph of the press release suggests that the functions will be available to users around the world in the future:
“Additional features will be added to Klip in the coming months. In the second half of the year, Klip will be directly connected to the Klaytn-based blockchain application. Subsequently, a native Klip mobile app will be available that provides a digital wallet for users around the world.”
